What exactly is Memorink?
Memorink is a photo frame with an e-ink screen. You send it photos from your phone, and it renders each one as a soft, hand-drawn print — no glare, no glow, nothing that reads as a screen. It runs on batteries, so it can sit anywhere in the house without a cable.
How do photos get onto the frame?
Through the Memorink app. Choose the photos you want, arrange the order they appear in, and set how often the frame changes — the frame picks them up over Wi-Fi on its own. You can add, remove or reorder photos at any time, from anywhere, and the frame updates itself the next time it changes picture.
Is the picture in color?
No, and that is the whole idea. E-ink renders every photo in soft monochrome grain, the way a pencil drawing or a printed etching looks. It is what makes a Memorink read as a picture hanging in the room rather than a screen playing a slideshow.
Does it really run for years without charging?
Yes. E-ink draws power only at the moment the picture changes; in between, the image simply holds with the frame effectively off. On a normal schedule one set of batteries lasts for years — no cable, no charging routine to remember, and nothing to unplug when you move it.
How often does the picture change?
Whenever you like. Set it to a new photo every morning, once a week, or leave one picture up for as long as you want and swap it from the app when the mood strikes. Changing less often stretches the batteries even further.
Where can I put it?
Anywhere, because nothing has to reach an outlet. It stands on its own on a kitchen table or a shelf, or hangs on the wall like a framed print. It comes in three finishes — matte black, soft cream, and natural oak — so you can match the room it lives in.
Can the whole family send photos to one frame?
Yes. Several people can be connected to the same frame from their own phones, so a photo taken this morning can be waiting on a grandparent’s shelf by evening. Whoever the frame belongs to never has to do anything — no app to open, no buttons to press. The picture is simply there.
What if it is not right for us?
Every frame comes with a one-year warranty, and you can return it within 14 days of opening it if it is not what you hoped for.
